The Cornerstone Crossroads Academy Working Warriors, our student work program, provides an opportunity for our students to work to support some of their basic needs, including food, shelter, and clothing.
In order to participate, students must complete 100 hours of community service, learning to give back to the community and making an investment in their own education.
Our Student Work Program Manager is Jamal Roberson. He is a 2014 graduate of CCA who worked at Weir’s Furniture in the warehouse and on a delivery truck. Jamal is uniquely positioned to lead the students as he shares his powerful story of leaving behind the street life, graduating from the Men of Nehemiah, completing high school, entering the work force, and becoming a godly leader in our community.
